World of Tanks gift cards available in electronics stores immediately

The global games developer & publisher Wargaming expands the choice of payment methods for third-person tactical shooter World of of Tanks by introducing pre-paid gift cards, a popular payment alternative. The gift cards valued at €10 and €20 will be available in well-sorted electronics stores immediately.

World of Tanks is a global tank simulation by the gaming company Wargaming nd currently one of the most successful online games worldwide – with up to 110 million registered players. The game itself is free to play, but players can buy items via microtransactions that allow for faster in-game progress. Gift cards are not only a popular payment alternative for users who prefer not to enter sensitive bank account data on the internet, but can also make for a great present.

To use the card, users simply need to scratch off the label on the back of the card to reveal the code and enter it. The corresponding amount is then immediately credited to their personal World of Tanks account and can be used to purchase items and much more.

This gift card solution was implemented in cooperation with epay, the leadingfull -service provider for prepaid solutions. The company with offices in centre of innovation Martinsried Wargaming does not only provide Wargaming with a first-class retail network for the distribution of the gift cards and carries out card production, logistics and merchandising, but also handles all technical and commercial background operations.
