epay Germany expands its social commitment in 2023 and extends its environmental protection activities

After four social days in the spring, epay employees in Germany have once again the opportunity to get involved in three more aid projects as part of the so-called Social Days. This time with another outdoor activity in the area of environmental protection, as many employees had requested this following an internal CSR survey. The Social Days have been taking place for a number of years now and involve voluntary employee involvement in social and environmental projects in the region, supported by the company. A big thank you goes to all the hard-working participants (#strongertogether)!

Continuation of the cooperation with BUND Naturschutz in Magdalenenpark Munich/ Pasing

Since 2022, we have also been at Magdalenenpark in Munich/Pasing for every edition of our Social Days to support the BUND Naturschutz Kreisgruppe München. The organisation’s work in this city park protects the biodiversity of animals and plants, while also creating an important place for recreation and relaxation in the heart of the city. Once again, we helped with the redesign, creating small biotopes, nesting cakes for forest bees and stone mounds as hibernation sites for amphibians and reptiles.

Expansion of cooperation with BUND Naturschutz to include an environmental campaign at the Martinsried site

This autumn, we were able to fulfil the wish of many of our employees for an additional social day in the area of environmental protection and expand our cooperation with BUND Naturschutz: a clean-up campaign through Martinsried, led and guided by the waste and waste avoidance working group of BUND Naturschutz in the Munich district group. A total of 19 employees took part in the event and diligently collected litter.

Social Day at Caritas EinLaden in Miesbach

Our last Social Day of the year took us to the EinLaden in Miesbach. EinLaden is a supplementary income project and contact point for mentally ill people run by the charity Caritas. Our colleagues helped to create a cosy lounge and relaxation room for the local clients.
