Euronet’s Prepaid Division Signs Exclusive Electronic Top-Up Agreement for Prepaid Pay TV with Premiere, a Leading Pay TV Operator in Germany

LEAWOOD, KANSAS and MUNICH, GERMANY — February 21, 2007:

Euronet Worldwide’s (NASDAQ: EEFT) Prepaid Division, a leading independent electronic payments and prepaid mobile airtime processor in Germany, today announced an exclusive electronic top-up agreement with Premiere Fernsehen GmbH & Co. KG (“Premiere”) for its new prepaid pay TV product – PREMIERE FLEX. Premiere is a leading pay TV operator in Germany and Austria with approximately 3.4 million subscribers. Launched in December 2006, Premiere’s prepaid pay TV product is targeted at customers who prefer to use the product without a subscription or long-term contract and with no monthly fees.

Under the agreement, Transact is the exclusive electronic top-up (e-top-up) provider for Premiere’s new prepaid pay TV product in Germany. Transact will offer its convenient e-top-up service for Premiere’s prepaid pay TV product exclusively through its retail partners. Currently, Transact has completed roll out for Premiere’s prepaid pay TV product at 2,100 stores of Penny, a leading discount retailer in Germany owned by Rewe, Europe’s fourth largest retailer. Penny is one of Transact’s key clients using its prepaid mobile top-up services. In addition to e-top-up service via point-of-sale (POS) terminals, Transact also offers web recharge service for Premiere’s prepaid pay TV.

Premiere plans to launch a country-wide advertising campaign on TV, radio and print in March 2007 to promote its new prepaid pay TV product offering. The campaign will also include POS advertising materials at Transact serviced retail stores offering Premiere’s prepaid product. Transact expects to roll out approximately 3,000 additional stores for Premiere’s prepaid pay TV product in conjunction with the advertising campaign.

“Our PREMIERE FLEX prepaid pay TV product offers customers increased flexibility and an individual choice of programming. With Transact’s direct top-up solutions, we offer customers a convenient and secure system to top-up their prepaid pay TV accounts at retail stores or via the web at anytime. Additionally, we chose Transact, the leading e-top-up processor in the country, for their superior technology, which guarantees a fast implementation of e-top-up at a minimum of cost for our sales channel partners.”

– Georg R. Rötzer,
Director Cash & Carry and Business Development for Premiere

“We are very pleased Premiere has selected us exclusively to offer e-top-up for their new prepaid pay TV product. This agreement in turn benefits our retailers who now have access to this prime product that their competitors cannot offer in the market. The continued popularity of electronic prepaid products emphasizes the simplicity and convenience benefits of our e-top-up system to our clients including retailers and their end-consumers. The prepaid industry is expanding beyond traditional products like mobile top-up and we are pleased to add prepaid pay TV product to the growing list of new products available to our retailers.”

– Michael J. Brown,
Euronet Worldwide chairman, CEO and president

Transact’s e-top-up service for Premiere’s prepaid pay TV is as straightforward as recharging prepaid mobile airtime for cell phones: customers buy credit, activate and watch Premiere without entering a contract and with no monthly fees. Currently, viewers can select from a wide range of Premiere’s pay TV content to watch movies and live sports events such as the UEFA Champions League on a pay-per-view basis. Starting on March 5, 2007, the seven Premiere packages (PREMIERE BLOCKBUSTER, PREMIERE ENTERTAINMENT, PREMIERE THEMA, PREMIERE SPORT, PREMIERE FUSSBALL, PREMIERE HD and DISCOVERY HD) will also be available individually and on a monthly basis for EUR 20 per month via PREMIERE FLEX. Premiere’s prepaid pay TV is available in several denominations – EUR 25, 50 or 75 – and can be electronically recharged at Transact serviced retail stores or via the web.
