Awarded Silver Again: EcoVadis Recognizes epay’s Commitment to Sustainability
epay Germany, part of transact Elektronische Zahlungssysteme GmbH, has once again been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal in 2026. This places epay among the top 15% of companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis over the past 12 months. This result recognizes the company’s ongoing efforts in the areas of environmental management, social responsibility, and responsible business conduct.
EcoVadis is a globally recognized provider of sustainability ratings. Companies are assessed in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. The rating provides business partners and customers with an independent assessment of a company’s sustainability performance and is becoming increasingly important in many business relationships.
The improved overall score demonstrates that sustainability at epay is not viewed as a standalone initiative, but rather as a long-term development process. Through the continuous enhancement of policies, processes, and initiatives, the company is steadily strengthening its sustainability performance.
“Receiving the EcoVadis Silver Medal again is an important validation of our journey. At the same time, it motivates us to continue advancing our activities and embedding sustainability across our organization over the long term,” says Antonia Leitner, Team Lead Corporate Social Responsibility DACH.
As a technology partner in the payments industry, epay is committed not only to delivering innovative payment solutions but also to operating in a responsible and transparent manner. The EcoVadis rating reinforces this commitment and provides additional guidance for customers, partners, and interested stakeholders.
Looking ahead, epay will continue to expand its sustainability activities and work purposefully to integrate environmental, social, and ethical considerations into its day-to-day business operations. Learn more: Corporate Social Responsibility at epay
