Worldline and epay build on their alliance

Worldline [Euronext: WLN], European market leader in payments and transactional services, is expanding its existing cooperation with epay. Following an initial successful project in 2014, the leading full service provider and distributor of prepaid products is installing a further 600 Worldline e-payment YOMANI terminals. The modern card readers of Worldline convinced through their speed and customizable software providing epay specific customer features such as fast processing of gift cards, while the project will also boost Worldline’s payment terminals market share.

The installation of 600 modern YOMANI terminals bolsters epay’s and Worldline’s presence in e-payment processing. The project follows an initial successful rollout in 2014, when both companies installed 800 terminals in Deutsche Telekom stores within 3 months. epay trusts the reliable and rapid YOMANI terminals primarily given their customizable software and reliable provision of specific customer features such as fast processing of gift cards directly on the terminal. Backed by the functionally customizable terminals, epay can offer an attractive and stable POS platform. Worldline’s YOMANI terminals are ideal for retailers who have to serve customers quickly at several checkouts. A colour display and optimized haptics ensure smooth service for the customers. In addition to other communication interfaces, standard terminals come with USB, Ethernet and serial networking.
