Hamburg / 29. September 2025

epay, a Euronet Worldwide company and leading provider of digital payment and incentive solutions, has appointed Jochen Freese as the new Managing Director for the Incentives & Rewards division. In this role, he will drive the strategic development and internationalisation of this key growth area. The division comprises the brands cadooz and cadooz rewards, which offer innovative solutions for customer loyalty, incentives and employee benefits as part of the epay portfolio.

With this appointment, epay is sending a clear signal: the Incentives & Rewards division will be even more closely integrated with the core business in future – as an integral part of a holistic strategy to support companies of all sizes with intelligent solutions for sales, marketing and employee motivation.

Jochen Freese brings extensive experience in the areas of loyalty, marketing solutions and business development. As CEO of Ingenico Marketing Solutions – now Knistr – he developed and managed successful customer loyalty programs for well-known companies in the retail, mineral oil, perfumery and technology industries. Freese has also held various international management positions, including in the areas of media intelligence and payment.

His in-depth understanding of the industry, strategic vision and leadership skills make him the ideal candidate for the role. ‘We are delighted to welcome Jochen Freese, a proven industry expert who shares our vision of creating innovative incentive solutions that deliver measurable value for companies and their employees,’ says Marc Ehler, Managing Director EMEA epay. ‘His experience will play a key role in further sharpening our entire service portfolio in one of our most important strategic business areas.’
