EcoVadis Bronze Medal achieved at the first attempt
epay celebrates a great corporate success in the area of sustainability: epay and Euronet Germany, which are combined under the official German entity transact Elektronische Zahlungssysteme, have jointly achieved a bronze medal in the EcoVadis assessment of May 2024!
This puts transact in the top 35% of all rated companies in the EcoVadis database over the last 12 months.
EcoVadis is the global standard for assessing the sustainability of companies. The EcoVadis assessment evaluates 21 sustainability criteria in four core areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. More than 125,000 companies worldwide have been assessed by EcoVadis.
Ongoing and effective management of sustainability practices is critical for epay. epay uses EcoVadis to assess its sustainability activities and understand in which areas the company can improve.
It is a great achievement that epay in Germany as part of transact has achieved the bronze medal at the first attempt, at the same time the ambition for next year’s assessment is to further improve the score.
