Days of Caring in spring 2026 at epay in Germany: Giving something back as a team
At epay in Germany, the Days of Caring represent our joint commitment to making a positive contribution to the regional community around our Martinsried site – while at the same time strengthening team spirit. This spring as well, motivated epay employees got involved in three meaningful projects that we implemented together with Caritas and BUND Naturschutz München.
Caritas Day Center for Mental Health “Am Westpark” (April 15)
For the first time, our activities included a project at the Caritas day center for mental health “Am Westpark”. In a safe and supportive environment, the center helps individuals build stability in their daily lives and develop new perspectives. Under the motto “Ramadama and Renovation”, indoor areas were repainted, the garden was prepared for spring, and raised beds were replanted. Particularly valuable was the direct interaction with the center’s visitors, which made the day a rewarding experience for everyone involved.
Magdalenenpark Pasing (April 29)
For the 10th time, one of our Days of Caring took place at Magdalenenpark in Munich Pasing, where we once again partnered with BUND Naturschutz München. In addition to maintaining green spaces and removing invasive plants, this year’s activities also included building a beetle hotel. These efforts contributed to promoting biodiversity while also providing interesting insights into ecological relationships.
Therapeutic Girls’ Home Gauting (May 7)
The third Day of Caring brought our colleagues back to the therapeutic girls’ home in Gauting, with which we have maintained a long standing partnership. On site, outdoor areas were redesigned, garden beds were prepared, and common spaces were readied for the warmer months. In addition, the exchange with the organization offered valuable insights into the important work of youth welfare services.
These projects demonstrate what can be achieved through shared commitment, collaboration, and a willingness to take responsibility.
We would like to thank all participants who made a meaningful contribution through their engagement.
