EcoVadis Silver Medal for epay Germany: Sustainability Success Confirmed
Sustainability has long been a key pillar of responsible corporate governance. It is all the more rewarding when this commitment is recognized externally:
epay and Euronet Germany, operating under the official German entity “transact Elektronische Zahlungssysteme,” were awarded the Silver Medal in the EcoVadis rating in September 2025.
This puts transact among the top 15% of all companies assessed worldwide in the past 12 months – a significant milestone on the path toward greater sustainability and responsible business practices.
Especially noteworthy: transact has significantly improved compared to the previous year. After receiving a strong Bronze Medal in 2024, the current rating highlights how consistently the company has advanced its sustainability strategy.
The internationally recognized EcoVadis rating evaluates companies’ sustainability performance across four key areas: labor and human rights, environment, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Medals are awarded only to companies that demonstrate outstanding performance compared to their peers.
For transact, the rating serves not only as a valuable benchmark but also as a transparent proof of epay’s sustainability practices for business partners.
This achievement is the result of cross-functional collaboration and the strong commitment of all team members. The improved rating reflects how sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility are actively embedded in transact’s business operations.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved – together, we are shaping a more sustainable future!
