Do, what you love
- Guidance: You will be responsible for leading the administration of MySQL and MariaDB across the company
- Expertise: You show excellent technical expertise in problem-solving with database systems and designing complex database solutions
- Maintenance: You will maintain awareness of developments in emerging technologies and disciplines related to current and future products as well as solutions through research and further development
- Database Environment: You will contribute to customer satisfaction and profitability by keeping an eye on customer needs and being aware of potential problems in their database environments
- Database Management: You carry out proactive database management for all databases and promote the adoption of standards, processes, and SIAs
Show us, what you’ve got
- Education: You have a degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent technical education and have several years of professional experience in the IT industry, particulary with the MySQL and MariaDB product suite, as well as in the management of large enterprise environments
- Experience: Ideally, you habe knowledge in the following fields:
- MySQL 5.6/5.7/8.0 and MariaDB 10.4/10.5/10.6 both on-premises and cloud
- Clustered architectures such as InnoDB, or Galera Cluster
- Advanced HS replication solutions with MySQL, MariaDB, Percona
- MySQL, MariaDB backup, recoveries, advanced monitoring solutions and migrations to the cloud
- Personality: You have excellent problem-solving, multitasking and communication skills and have a logical and pragmatic mindset
- Language Skills: You can easily communicate in English in our intercultural environment and in any situation
